NISARG is one of the social development organization of Odisha established in the year 1989 and involved in rural development field since last 28 years with the continuous efforts by its dedicated professional staffs .NISARG has the vision to improve the standard of living of poor & neglected people of Odisha and India at large. The organization has the mission to eradicate extreme poverty & hunger, ensuring social inclusion and justice, good governance and citizen’s right. Women empowerment is the prime focus to enhance their capacity and update their skills towards economic growth. NISARG is also necessitated in the field of education, health and sanitation , sustainable agriculture, environment protection program, Animal protection , child rights & protection . NISARG has already taken bold action against social evils like female feticide, dowry, Child marriage, gender discrimination, alcoholism, and also forced marriage. NISARG has spread consciousness among the people for abolishment of social evils. NISARG works with community people directly and also through NGO partners to make distinctive development of the society
